Hook: Your personas came out of a workshop three years ago and they live in a deck, while AI answers buyers by reading what your website says today. Five minutes of clicking shows you the buyer types the model wrote from your own pages, work an agency prices at EUR 5,000 and up.

What You'll Learn

  • Read the five buyer types the model wrote from your own pages: role, seniority, market type, goals, pain points, the sources they trust and the sentences they type into the assistant
  • Keep the profiles that are true by promoting them into a Persona Bank you own and edit
  • Put a coverage number on every persona you keep, showing how much of your website actually speaks to that person
  • Read the whole audience as one page: seniority split, job functions, buying stage, the questions your audience needs answered and the problems they carry
  • Export the Bank and the Insights page as PDF, Markdown or CSV, and write the campaign brief off measured numbers

You are about to sign off a campaign brief, and nobody has checked whether the deck and the model still describe the same person. The model has never seen your deck. It reads your website, and it decides from that who you are for.

What it costs today

Assumption: agency persona research at EUR 120 an hour, in-house strategist time at EUR 90 an hour.

RouteElapsedCostWhat you get
Agency study: interviews, synthesis, five written personas2 to 6 weeksEUR 5,000 to 25,000A document, dated the day it shipped
In-house strategist reads the website and writes five profiles6 to 10 hoursEUR 540 to 900One person’s reading of the website
Marketer5 minutes of clicking after the scanEUR 196/mo, EUR 2,352/yrFive personas per model, rewritten on every scan

The cheap in-house route costs EUR 540 at its floor and goes stale the week the website changes. Rerun it quarterly and it is EUR 2,160 a year for four snapshots that were never measured against anything. The five profiles a scan writes come with a coverage number attached, so the campaign brief argues from a measurement of your own pages.

What the video shows

  1. Two sets, side by side. The Persona Bank is the audience you curate and edit, and it is the set your AI visibility is measured against, with a counter showing how many of its six seats are in use. Discovered Personas is the model reading your website, one set per model, read-only.
  2. Read one of them in full. Open a discovered card and you get the whole person: the source cluster the role came from, demographics, market type, seniority, decision weight, the story, then the search triggers, the sources that person trusts and the queries they type. There is no Edit button here, because the set belongs to the model and it changes when your website changes.
  3. Keep what is true. Promote copies a persona into your Bank, where it becomes editable and starts being measured. What you leave behind stays readable and stays out of your numbers, and six seats means the choice costs you something.
  4. Measure the Bank. The two you promoted read Not measured yet. Press Re-measure and every persona gets scored against every cluster of your own content, so a coverage number lands on each card, with a View gaps button beside it.
  5. The one-page read. Insights collapses the whole Bank into seniority split, job functions, buying stage, top informational needs and top pain points, with the top two of each badged core need and core gap. Coverage closes the page.
  6. Take it with you. Export the Bank as PDF for the agency and the Insights page as CSV for the argument.

What you need

  • Marketer, EUR 196 a month. Personas are switched off on Free.
  • One completed scan on the model you want to read, with the metrics pass finished.
  • Room in the Persona Bank. It holds six, and Promote is disabled once it is full.
  • One model chosen and kept for the whole exercise. Rankfor.AI works with Gemini, ChatGPT and Grok.

Questions people ask

Can I ask for a fresh set of personas without a new scan? No. The personas are written once, during the scan, and there is no regenerate button anywhere in the product. A new scan writes a new set, and you get one scan per model per calendar month, so the set turns over monthly at most.

How many personas can I keep? Six in the Bank. At the cap the Promote button switches off and tells you to remove one first. The rest of the discovered set stays readable and stays out of your numbers.

What changes when I switch model? The whole discovered set. Personas are written per model because a scan is per model, so a profile promoted on Gemini does not read as promoted on Grok. Pick one model and stay on it.

What happens if I edit a persona? Editing replaces it. The coverage number resets to Not measured yet, a new portrait generates, and the card gains a Custom badge. Edit first, then Re-measure, then read the coverage. A re-measure is a recompute, so it leaves your monthly scan untouched and you can press it as often as you edit.

Open the discovered set on your own website and check it against the deck you were about to sign off. Start with Rankfor.AI.
